I bring mine to AirMarine on Central by Midway Airport and have them epoxy coated,,,,, hold up better then spray paint, and looks factory.

There is a guy in Lemont that does soda blasting, Better than Sand and it washes out. Might want to check with him, he can also epoxy prime and paint them or I have a powder coater over here in Stegar

If you decide to go the powdercoat route., I've had nothing but oustanding results from Lo-Ko performance coatings :
5340 West 111th Street
Oak Lawn, IL 60453
Phone: 708-424-7863
Fax: 708-424-9378

I've had a ton of stuff powdercoated there; Transom assemblies, trim tabs, misc brackets, my windshield frame. Bring it in cruddy, he sandblasts it and makes it look beautiful.
John is a very personable guy to deal with.
Good Luck,
Dan

I had Pro-Tek in Lemont blast and powdercoat the drive for me. I am very happy with the end result and the price was fair IMO.
Although I did not use any of the aforementioned vendors, I do appreciate the response and thought I would share who I used to do the job.
Hope to get the boat back next week to get out 1 more time before winterizing.
