Default Somebody must know.....

Does anyone on here know how much fuel each tank holds on the 1996 38' Scarabs? It has 3 seperate fuel tanks and the overall capacity is 194 gallons but I don't see in the owners manual any info on how much each tank holds. Thanks.

Chuck

How you doing Joe? I didn't sell the Outlaw just yet. It's sitting on my aunts property stripped to the hull. I imagine I will sell it at some point. Probably for gas money for the Scarab!!!

Take care,
Chuck

I once owned a 38' Wellcraft Scarab....much earlier year/model, but it had 3 seperate fuel tanks as well---2 saddle tanks and 1 belly tank. I once had to remove the saddle tanks---they were 68 gallons each. It was stamped right on the tanks. I cannot remember what the exact fuel capacity of the what the belly tank was, but I think it was very close to 60 gallons or so.

Thanks KAAMA. I am going to call Wellcraft tomorrow and ask them just to make sure.

Take care,
Chuck

Swipe the credit card and start listening to a CD. It should be full when the disc ends and you have the entire winter to pay it off!

Now you're getting the idea Chuck! Another sure sign that the boat is close to full is when other people at the dock begin to say "Holy S--t, how much gas does that thing hold?" It's all worth it in the end, though. Congrats on the purchase. Where did you find it?
