Default Sold my 6.0 F350 and bought a new 6.4 F350

The dealer REALLY wanted to sell a truck 9/29. I bought a loaded F350 Lariat Crew Cab 6.4 4X4 long bed that is only missing 3 options.
They went lower than X, A, or D plan by allot! Then there was $3800 in incentives.
Pretty sweet deal.

Then I sold my old 6.0 F350 for $35K. I paid $38K for it new.
I had zero problems w/ the 6.0 and it was a great truck. I hope this new motor is as good!

You will love it! I did the same thing in May; sold an 05 F-350psd and got an 08 350 srw crew4x4 loaded. The gps is great. I didn't get 35k ($28.5k w/77k miles)for my 05 though, you did well.

Sweet looking truck. I have been told that the new 6.4 has tons of power.

I bought a 08 250 at the end of August. I got a great deal and love the power out of the 6.4. Granted my boat is somewhat small but the truck was getting 15-16mph pulling the boat.

I saw a post on some "diesel" website, that the full power of the motor does not kick in until after 10k miles are on the motor. As I said it was a post on some site. I will try to find the post.

Bill that is a great looking truck for sure. I think you will really like the 6.4 from what many customers have told me that own it. Ford has the best styling on the market bar none right now on the big trucks.

My 02 model 7.3 is paid for and I only have 71K miles on it and I think I'll just keep on trucking with her.

Enjoy

Never had a p/up or a diesel until a few months ago when I got a new 08 450. Absolutely love the truck and the engine. Have over 11k miles on it w/out a spot of trouble! Good luck, nice rig!!

I brought home a F-350 Dually 6.4 Diesel last Tues from a local dealership to see if it would fit in the garage.

I drove it for 70 miles round trip all expressway and it only got 10.4 non towing with a 4:30 gear,,,,,, OUCH !!!!!!!

Love mine. It is a lot better than the 6.0 all around, besides fuel economy. But who cares we are boat oweners.

Mine's not doing too bad. I am only 1 - 2 mpg lower than the old 6.0, and I only have 500 mile on it. I think that once it gets broken in, my mileage should be ok.

Right now I am getting 13 -14. Driving the 6.0 on the same roads got 14 - 16.
My old 6.0 was a great truck - NO problems and was paid for, but we need the truck for business and needed to spend some profits. . . . . . . .
