Default The best race site you have been

Was interested to hear what you think the best race site was and why. Not only for the race but other things to please both the crowds and teams.

KEY WEST DON"T COUNT!!!!

I say St.Clair, MI. Why? You can see the race and there is entertainment for everyone no matter what your age.

I used to always say St Pete but after going to Chattanooga - hmmmmmmmmmmmm It's a toss up. Corpus Christi , TX is great as well too.

Cambridge for a race and Vacation at the Hyatt, but St Clair is #1 because of the city, viewing, boat count, competition and fans. Plus the water is clean if you roll!

Another vote for St Clair ... Im a big fan of everything being within walking distance ... I like to park the car when we arrive and not get back in it til we are ready to leave and I like that the pits and the race course are in the same area.

Chattanooga, Cambridge, Pt Pleasant, Patchogue, Ocean City were all a close 2nd .... at least when we did drive, everything was straight down the road.

Key West by far because you get rough water conditions on the outside and smoother on the inside and flat in the harbour. This of course is only when everyone is there together not just 25 or 30 boats because that on a 6 mile course can be like watching paint dry. Also great every night entertainment and lots of things for the wives and kids to do.
