Been looking at new cars. I like the 535i and wanted to order a 535i 6 speed. Anyone got one?
I like the 335i and all the mods you can get for it but it is too small to be practical so I thought the 535 would be a nice alternative.

I have an 02 540i. I am 6'4" so I kind of crawl in and out of it. Not as much leg room as I would like but it's no worse than most other cars.
I made the mistake of driving a 540 6 sp. before I drove a 530 auto. After the 540, the 530 seemed slow and sluggish. The final choice was obvious. Mine has the sport, and premium pkgs. I HIGHLY recommend them. The car corners on rails, and I love the sport seats.
I don't drive it in snow and seldom in rain. Rain isn't a problem but I need an excuse to drive my SUV so it's my rain/snow car.
I put Goodyear Eagles on it a couple of years ago. They are fine but have some traction issues in cold weather.
The only problems I have had in 53,000 are the rear speakers, and one of the LED panels on the dash.
If you buy the 535 remember "you could have had a V-8"
email if I can be of more help. [email protected]

I drove a 335i with mods last month and liked it better than my 02 M3. The 335 was faster, quieter and had a better ride with 19's than my M3 did with 18's. The M3 exhaust in the current car sucks, sounds like rocks bouncing around in the muffler!

I have a friend with an m5. That is one of my altime favorite cars, runs like a vette and can carry the family. I agree the price is a little crazy though. I didn't relize the 535 was turbo now.

The 335i is a cool car but a little small so I figured a 535 would be a nice alternative. I know the 6 spd cars became available as of Sept. 1 and hope that can give the car a sportier feel. The automatics are the kiss of death in the 335i coupes, everyone wants the 6 spd.
