Johns Pass in Treasure Island St. Petersburg just a skip across the bay to the coast.

Is there a lot of boat traffic at St Johns? I live in St Pete and havent been there yet, I might head up there today.

Theres Airfest in downtown St Pete today too.

I wish I had seen this before I left today, the wife and I were all over that area, we got back a little while ago. You and I probably crossed paths and didnt even know it.

Maybe next time...

go fast boats are not very plentiful in Tampa. The local fountain dealer hardly ever has any but they have a lot of fish boats! On the westside of the Gandy there is Lightning Bay and they are a OSO advertiser. That is really the only performance boat shop in the area.
For eating there are much better places than Gators food. Sounds like you are on the beach side of St. Pete. Look these up on the net for directions:
Guppy's
Crazy Conch
Snappers
Frenchy's
Salt Rock Grill

Thanks for the list Mike, havent been to any of those restaurants yet. I will start checking them out this week!

We are on the beach side I guess, just off of St Pete Bayway. We just moved 2 months ago...

I have noticed the shortage of powerboats in the area. I see a few come through the canal behind the house every so often. Dont know if they are on here or not.

Baja 38 Special- Haulin A$$
Fountain- Didnt remember the name but I think it was an older 51 or something.

You guys have a local place to hangout?

It is funny that there's not a lot of go fastboats here in the Tampa area. I wonder why?

huh?
Well, we come from all over Tampa Bay, up the bay near Rocky Pt. all the way to Sarasota and over at the beaches. We don't often get to go in a group, but we TRY!

This was at "Ruskin" at Little Harbor, east side of Tampa Bay.
