Default Lake Mead this weekend ?

I'm hoping to get out to Mead this weekend and wondered what you guys think...Is this time of year nice out there ? I know the daytime temps are mid 80's and in the mid to high 50's at night, so that seems great. How is the water temp ? I'm not looking for a Havasu type environment at all, just some good boating. Planning on staying at the Loews Lake Las Vegas. Any other thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Weather has been beautiful lately. Nice sunny days, warm evenings and cool nights. Perfect for boating but can get windy sometimes. Should be nice this weekend. Water temps are fine. I could be persuaded to take the boat out (if I have the time).

Default Lake mead

I was out there last weekend for Maiden Voyage of my new to me and newly rigged and powered 2006 36 Skater. We where up at Echo Bay. Friday evening was very nice and calm. Sat. was in the 80's and slight breeze. Sunday was cooler and 50 MPH gusts and big water. We where chasing gremlins both days. Got most of it worked out. Could be pursaded to come back out on Sat. afternoon and Sunday especially if there was another big boat around. We would launch at Lake Mead Marina. How about you?

LZH No that;s a guy name Scott out of Vegas. That is a 40' Flat Deck boat called Bad. Yes that is a very Nice Boat. Mine is a 36' Classic with a Wild Paint Job that is somewhat Ugly (will paint this winter hopefully). Was it nice out there last weekend? I will be out there on Sat. Nov. 10th in the afternoon and then again on Sunday Nov. 11th most of the day. Will Launch at Lake Mead Marina. Should have a couple of friends with thier boats. 38 Top Gun w/ Quad Whipples and a 38 Donzi ZRC w/ 900's. Any chance you can join us? Any problem launching and then getting out at Lake Mead Marina?

NICE - I was actually planning on being there that weekend !
I have some things going on in Vegas but will be staying at Lake Las Vegas with the wife and friends, possibly the guy in the above photos with the Outerlimits.
Launching anything 35+ requires dunking the entire ass of your tow vehicle, so as long as your good there it shouldnt be a problem. Levels are way down, but didnt cause any probs on the water...just gotta be careful. I heard they are moving the entire Marina soon, as in a few weeks...Might want to check status there...Look forward to meeting you guys !

Default Lake Mead weekend of Nov. 10th and 11th.

I will be there for sure on Sunday by 10:00AM at the Lake Mead Marina, and if I can get done what I am doing Sat. in time I may try and launch by 4:00PM Sat.

Anybody else out there come play while it is still not to cold.

I might be able to make it out if not too busy with work. May get my buddy in his 36 if you don't mind hanging with a couple of low $ Baja's!

I haven't been out since the SCOPE poker run so I'm getting antsy.

I'll do my best to be there. I'm in serious need of a little hydro-therapy!
