The little restaurant next to Robbies has great fish sandwiches-it's called the Hungry Tarpon.

1. Take the Card Sound Bridge route into the Keys and stop aT Alabama Jacks, on the right just before the bridge, old keys at it's best..!!
2. The best couch fritters can be found at Hog Heaven, about MM85 ocean side.
3. Excellent breakfast at Mangrove Mike's in Islamorada, bay side.
4. Seven Mile Cafe for a great greasy burger,in Marathon
5. Best hideout/off the beaten track bar/grill : No Name Pub in Little Deer Key..
I could go on.

Correction.....
It's about three or 4 miles past Holiday Isle. You'll go across a bridge and it's on the right at the end of the bridge. One of the coolest things that I've ever seen. The story that I was told is that the location (years ago) used to be a fish processing plant and the Tarpon would hang out there and eat the scraps as they were thrown out. When the plant closed, the tarpon were still hanging out there. the people who own a little marina there sell buckets of fish for like $2.00. Watch out for the Pelicans, they will snatch a fish right out of your hand if you aren't paying attention!
