History of the Condor brand anybody?
Does anybody know the history behind the Condor boats?

I have a jetboat made by Condor. It could be a different manufacturer?
My condor was built from the old Taylor molds. A guy named Terry Favors built them through the 90's before going out of business. Mine is a 98.
I bought it new and still have it today. If you think it's the same builder, let me know, I have more info.

The Condor jetboats were built in Oklahoma by Irvan Kapps. He started with Oscar Taylor at Taylor boats and then went out on his own I believe. He built 18' 19' and 20' foot tunnels plus some v's. He really built a good boat. Then I think he may have bought some of the taylor molds before he closed up and sold to Terry Favors (Who is a low life scum that owes me $4000!) The boat in the 1st picture was not built by the Condor we are discussing. Must be a different condor.

I have to wonder who Condor's main customers were. The ones I've seen had diesel engines, huge fuel capacity (600-1200 gallons), and no finished cabins.
By the way, take the info for the 42 footer listed with a grain of salt. I spoke to the company that supposedly "serviced the boat after each event", and they said it never came to them. Also the engines are out of an old 80's endurance race boat.

Interesting- Okie- I never met Terry Favors, but you are the fourth ot fifth person I've heard that he screwed and owes money. I'm glad I never dealt with him. Sounds like a real tool.
