Talking Richmond Chill-Out 2008

I am on a thread starting roll this week.

I am assuming this is still on, Brian? Jan 26th?
Only two months away.

Ditto.....but Brian's profit (or lack of) and silence is deafening.

I just called the Richbrau tonight. I am working out the details.

There will be a gathering. Its just going to be scaled back a bit. I got burned in the wallet last year on the go-karting and the party. I'm not upset. The weather was in the 60s for cripes sake, and there were better things to be doing. With so many parties that took after the original two; (there was a Chicago OSO party that inspired the Winter Chill-Outs), folks are attending events closer to home, and companies that donate door prizes and the like are more reluctant due to the fact that they get SO many requests.

More details to follow hopefully next week. Tough to think about after being in FL last week, and I have not even winterized yet! We might go out on Thanksgiving Day.

Brian dont give up your parties are always the BEST and i have been there every year. Even if it is only in a parking lot i will still drive 6 hours to come be with some off the best people i know and who are always willing to help someone out. Thanks Brian As Always Michael

You know the ole saying.....KISS....Keep it simple. Low key, good venue, and very social atmosphere are always the best. Too much flash is a distraction. The first two years in Richmond were the most memorable and fun to me. Probably met the most people at last year's.

Anything you put together will be great. Dn't get wrapped in the number of people. Hell if only 50 people, that's still a great time in my book...

Back to Richbrau it is. I liked that place much better anyway. I think the locals will come Brian, the number of people will be down...but still a good time for all that attend.

I'm local and will be there!!! I finally find a way to clear a business event that happened on the same evening as this the last few years and the "big party" gets reduced. Still looking forward to a night out with some of you internet nerds though!!!

I missed last years party, but was in attendance the year before. Had a great time & looking forward to this year.

Hey Brian Thanksgiving day is supposed to be pretty nice, I'm thinking about doing the same thing.
