F350 6.0 belt squeak
#1
My 06 PowerStroke has a belt squeak that my dealership just can't fiqure out. They have replaced every part on the front of this thing and it will go away for a few thousand miles but then it comes back. It is worse when you have some weight pushing you just above idle. I searched on the diesel sites and didn't find anything. Has anybody here had this and if so could you get rid of it?

I think they make little scopes that let you find noises in tough spots.
I had the same issue.....was empty handed until they checked back on all the TSB's and found a bad torque converter vein. Replaced the whole TC....got rid of whistle. Thought the whole time the sound was coming from under the hood, and it was on the bottom of the truck.
