Default Quick winterize

Was wondering if any of you winterize your 500 efi's by yourself and how involed it is ,I've only had carbed 454's which are simple to winterize, reason being I'm going to go look at a boat for sale thats already been winterized ,would like to fire them up then i'll be responsible for winterizing again ,wanted to know how difficult it may be ? Could i just bring along the right equipment and rewinterize on the spot ? Any help would be great .......Thanks Rich

drain the block, hoses and oil cooler. emove T-stat and use this with AF.http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...roductId=45454or you can make your own with a 5 gallon bucket and some hose.

Just a thought, but if I was the owner of the boat, I wouldn't let the potential buyer winterize it unless I had full non-refundable payment for the boat.
I would either make them pay me the costs to winterize myself, or the marinas fees.
Just an opinion.

The best way to winterize a boat in NY is to drag it 2000 miles south!

Spray fog in the carb while running, remove 4 plugs, 3-4 hoses. Done in less than 5 mins.
