Has anybody had their rims on their Livorsi gauges turn black? On all but 2 of my gauges their is a black color under blue rim, has this happened to anybody?

My brother's 22 Donzi has red rims and 2 of them are doing that. I don't know what Livorsi would do to fix it, etc. I can tell you he takes extremely good care of his boat and I don't think it's anything he did...

Craney are these the actual rims on the guages or the bezels?

About to purchase Livorsi guages.

Mine is staring to do it, Kinda like a water spots under the anodizing.

My blue clam shell covers on the transom cables are doing it also

Usuually they start to peel when that happens. I have had it happen several times. Thats why I go with chrome now.

I can't believe everyone has all these problems. I thought they were the best! I just bought a set off of eBay too...

Sucks considering the 20 year old VDO gauges are still fine besides that they look terribly out-dated.

I would be PISSED.

How many hours do you guys typically get out of these gauges?

Liv's are the cheapest made gages. Go AutoMeter if you want quality.

my brother's started at about 200 hours, and 3 years old. The depth sounder also has white flaking off of it. I just assumed his was an oddball this whole time.
