I traveled the nation retrofitting new headliners for Baja. The old style glue up style headliners were all falling down so we designed a method to fit the new style headliners in the old boats. From Fl to La to DC to Minnisotta. I forget how many we did? It was a pleasure going to the factory for two weeks fixing boats for them there. Working with John and one eyed Larry was a pleasure as well. we completed several boats from 26 to the 442. Great people and fun to see what factory life is really like. Any who if you have this problem we can solve it. Our shop or yours let me know and we can solve the problem.

I have had many problems with mine in my 2001 342. I had National Marine fix a couple of times
. I fell down again this year, and I tried to get Baja to stand up and pay for the repair seeing that this was a documented problem. They declined.
I guess they can't stand behind their product when they know they have an ongoing issue with MANY boats. They wouldn't even pay to just repair it.
Let me know what your solution is. I had mine tacked up along the seams, so there are some staples in the liner. I had a local shop look at it, and they would repair the extisting headliner with trim pieces at the seams, or they would replace the entire headliner.
Thanks,
Tony.

when they installed it they cut the deep seams with a blade and cut the velcro holding the headliner in place. I am assuming you have the suspended headliner not a glue up. The correct method I showed them is to replace all of the soap board under the liner and redo the job. When installing they need to trim the extra material in a diffrent manner. No matter how many times you try and reapply it the velco is failing. We can repair the boat by replacing all of the product and the complete system. Let me know if I can help. It is my opinion you would be wasting money if you try and repair what is there. visit my site and you see some sample's. Are you the original owner?

We have a 2002 29 Baja Outlaw and the headliner has come unglued and is sagging, especially over the V berth. How do you repair it and what is the backing? Where can I order it from? I was thinking of attempting the repair myself or take it to a local shop. Do you re-use the original material? Do you it sell direct? Can I get an estimate for repair? I'm located in the Florida Panhandle. Please feel free to shoot me a PM for more info. Thanks!

and we can go from there. The aftermarket material is available but Baja sells the original stuff. The problem was the glue. Bill@bottomsupboatrepair is my web address so send me some photo's and we can go from there.
