Default Source for hinges and latches?

[B]I am making a storage area on my boat similar to a glove box. I am looking for some hinges that will not be seen from the outside. Also a push button, pull or latch to open and close it with. I have checked West Marine, Rex Marine , and Overtons catalogs, as well as local hardwre stores but don't see what I'm looking for. Anyoone know of a good source for this type of hardware.[/B
Thanks
Steve

(Trick) sold R'Addiction a nice billet door some time ago. It probably came from Dana Marine, or some place similar.

I don't think that I have seen anything quite like what you are looking for.

I would like the hinge to fasten to the inside of the compartment door so you dont see it from the outside. I think it would be like a kitchen cabinet hinges where you don't see the hinge.

You can always do some shopping at MacMaster-Carr.
www.mcmaster.com
I've found all kinds of useful stuff there.
Everything ships overnight, you'll have it the next day.

You might try Acon Marine in FL. They make more than cleats.

Perko and Sea Dog Line seem to have the most options for what you are looking for. I will search around in some catalogs that I have and see what I can come up with and PM you. We can special order any of these type of items for you with no problems.
