You can try Gullwing Motors now called Paul Russle inc. They are located in Essex MA. They have won peble beach a number of times. They do most all of Ralph Lorens cars. May be a bit of culture shock for you but it is a great place to work.

You may also try and get in touch with "LATER" on the board. He is in the same business.

If you need cash quickly inbetween jobs I would suggest selling cars if you can't find any painting jobs... It's a pretty good gig in the interim if you need some cash to stay afloat.

I've been in car sales for 6 years now and the money is pretty good. Good enough that I'm boat shopping, anyway.
