Default 30 Spectre I/O

Tell me the good, bad, and ugly. Power stock 500 efi's and new XR sportmaster drives.

Thanks
Dan

Good= Great boat that can usually be had at good price. 112 MPH or so.

Bad= porpoise

If your referring to the 2005 that was in the classifieds located in C.A. I've seen the boat in person and it is very very clean. Would be worth looking at if your in the market. The only thing I didn't like about it is that he did not go with the heads up trim indicators.

ran mine with 500 HP's, 112 most anytime, porpoised a bit from 60-70, but nothing you couldnt just drive thru or a little chop didnt take care of... cruise at 50 or 80 and your fine...

the 30 is a good boat, not too many cats that size will hang with you considering most are single inboard or have outboards.... dollar per mile an hour is hard to beat.

The 30 is a great boat. Jay put sand in the lay-up in the bow on the IO boats. Helped with the weight balance. Chuck on OSO had one with 496s.

The one that was in the classifieds before the end of the year was a 2005 hp500's, all white, very clean for about 10k more than the one posted above.

This is the one your talking about. It looks sweet but i dont think he wants a Gladiator like the owner of the other one does.
