Default looking for a boat in the 50,000...

hi every one, and thank you for this great boat community !

i'm the owner of a hydrostream 17 and very interested in speed boats for a while now and would like to come to a bigger boat..with good performances.
i live in the carribean, so always on ocean and open water..
i would like to buy a used boat on us market 'cause prices are very attractives. but am so afraid to buy a dumb..

so that's why I post here to get some advice on boats for sale..

sorry for my english (i'm french) and low aknowledge..

i'm looking for a boat of more than 25' with twins for safety with great speed and roomy.. with cabin appointment if possible
i saw several boat that could be great as a powerplay 33 sport deck with outboards as in my area it's more simple to service outboards than inboards..

in the classifieds, i saw a cig decathlon that would be good for the great space aboard

i'm also interested in cats but don't know if they would be suitable for my use..

at this buget, not looking for last models of course but great boat to have fun..

thanks for your advices..

if you know for good poeple for the shipping, would be great too..

From the research I have been doing for my own boat search, I have found cats to be out of this price range.

The feedback I have gotten on Formula boats would be appropriate for your usage IMO... Durable, good value, pretty good on big water. Here are some examples:

An older Cigarette Bullet would have plently of cabin space for you. A formula 292 is also a nice ride.

Enjoy your search!

thanks, but for Clay, isn't the decathlon the same hull than the bullet but without the deck ?

what do you think about the one in the classifieds ?

for baddogz, thanks but it's just too expensive for my money...

in that spirit i was very interested in the 357sr1...

for the cats i was thinking about older cats as chris cats or warlock....

This will be a great riding boat!

The owner should be posting it here for sale soon.
If you look at the recent thread about '28s for sale' in the saber forum, you will see the owners posts towards the end.

A 27 Fountain is anything but roomy and is only a single engine.

The 1987 Cigarette Decathalon is a totally different boat than a Bullet. I don't know if it is the same hull, but the Decathalon is definelty a salt-water boat!

If you want a comfortable cabin, a Bullet is a good choice. But, since you live in the Carribean, the Decathalon with its center console and triple outboards might be your best choice.

Just my two-cents...
