Default Torino for 100M, at Barrett,

1971 Torino sold at Barrett auction for $100,000... WOW!

My dad had a 70 Torino GT and I had it for a while after. I should have pickled the damn thing and kept it for 35+ years.. I could have bought my new boat now.
I wonder how much my first boat, 1972 16' Hustler would worth. ?

I wanted to cry after seeing that, my uncle had a 1970 Mercury cyclone with the factory drag pack. I had a 1970 Torino GT conv. factory 4 speed, 4BBL 351C. I only paid $500.00 for my Torino in 1982, he bought his cyclone new.

I paid $1600 for my 1970 Torino GT in 1973. That was 2 weeks before I got my Liscens. I saw one for sale in about 1990 for $10,000, that was just like mine.

Ok, my heart attack is over................100M = 100 Million, 100K = 100,000 which is what the car sold for.

It was a 429 car, grabber blue and a numbers match car. I wouldn't have paid 25K for it but I am not a Torino fan.

Sorry Jupiter.. $100,000

"M" is also 1000. "C" is 100. I do get confused at times. Keep forgetting that "K" is used for 1000 in money.

Yes Steve, I plan to attend, Thanks for the invite. Sorry that I didn't stop in at NYE, but we got out of Tamp late.
