We are thinking of going to Destin in Aug. to meet up with some friends and we want to take the boat any does or don'ts? Also anything out of the ordinary to be aware of while boating? The wife was looking at the Sandestin to stay.

The Emerald Coast Poker Run is August 14-16. Good time to go even if you don't do the run. Great place to boat. Intercoastal and offshore. Have fun. Check out the Florida PowerBoat Club Website for details.
