Hello All-

So I have been looking into adding some sort of wind protection device to my 30 Motion. I really like the way the windscreen looks on the 30 Spectre. I would really like to know if:
1) How usefull is the windscreen on the 30 spectre
2) Is the Motion and Spectre close enough to be able to use the windscreen on my Motion
3) A supplier to purchase a windscreen
4) Or any other ideas for keeping the wind off of the people in the boat while running.

I installed one on my 30. I got it from Island Plastics on Long Island. Do not know if they are still in business, nor do I have any contact information.
The wind screen was the best thing I did to my boat. Installation took a full day. Nothing difficult, just a day working upside down.
Mine was 5" tall and the wind hit me in the forehead. My girlfriend kept her hat on until 80 MPH or so.
Why don't you call Jay at Spectre and have him either supply one, or install one. He had this as an option on the 30 before he sold the compamy.

Has anyone with a motion installed a spectre windscreen on it? I found a good deal on a brand new wind screen but need to know if the spectre windscreen will work on my motion!

I don't think it will work. The Motion deck and the Spectre are completely different. It WILL slow the bout down 1 or 2 as well.
