Default [Updated] Ouch. Someone had a bad day boating.

I was at my marina last night and found this boat sitting there so I took some pics for you guys. Brand new Formula 30-something-foot cruiser. Bummer. Looks like it ran up on some rocks.

One thing I find interesting is how these Volvo DPX drives are shrouded in a fiberglass casing. What's the story there?

So on the Douprop the first prop is used to protect the second prop from major damage. I get it now

CORRECT ! the first prop is designed to shred the offending object while the second one ejects it rearward !!!
