Balancing tires
#1
Ive had my 08 F350 for about 3 weeks now, 1200 miles. Im having a problem with getting the tires balanced. The rears mainly...When the truck came in the tires were ordered incorrectly but drove smooth. The dealer replaced the tires..white lettered.. actually same as my 07. The dealership did it twice, was ok, but not as good as my 07. Took it to another shop, dealer paid for it, been there twice, once was ok but weights keep coming off. Is there any tricks, or am I a victom of someone not doing the job properly. Both these places are cool, and know how anal I am on this cause I rotate every 7500 miles. What would you do, go back for a third trip, or pay to have it done right, or is there a problem Im not aware of. Thanks Jeff

I had to have the 19.5's on my dually shaved round @ a commercial truck shop. My wheels could only use tape on weights and they would not stay on the wheels. They are nice and smooth now. None of the commercial truck tires are round from the factory.
