What is this? Being touted as a 1981 30' Wellcraft Cougar Cat. I've never heard of such a thing, and to me it looks very similar to a 30' Excalibur hull, but the deck is completely different, as are the body lines on the hull. I'm really interested in the boat, I'd remove that hideous glass windshield, and respray the boat all stark white. My 496 stroker motors would fit nicely in it too

So what's the story? Is it the same hull as the Excalibur Cat but with a pleasure type deck?

Aaron your right, and here it is the story from a 1980 Powerboat. The hull was not the same as the Wellcraft sport cat, this one has a narrow tunnel.

Always thought it was a very cool boat, wonder how it rides??
It think it would be a cool boat more today than back then.

Would like to get my hands on this one......For sure.

This is the wettest boat ever designed. Under 55 MPH it sprays water straight up and you drive right into it. I got soaked in flat water on the ICW!

Do yourself a favor and find something else. No resale, no value, no potential. RUN!!!
