boat sell after winning World Championship?
#1
I am a biggest fan of Offshore Boat Racing and one question that popped up in my mind and wondering....
I noticed some team raced their first season, then enter Key West to race for World Championship and won....After winning World Championship, they sell their boat..Like for example, Ligtining Strikes...They raced for 1 season, won World Championship, sell their boat and sold overseas. Other example, Super Cat Lite Pier 57, raced 1 season, won World Championship, sell, and is still for sale.
It makes me wonder what makes teams sell boats after their first season?

Well lets see
-they already did what they set out to do
-they relize the time takes to be the best
-to much time away from family
-to much time away from work
-they want to go out on top
-they want to move up a class or two
-racing partnership disolved
-want to go poker running
-got sick or had family that got sick
-realized how much money it takes to win
What I mean is it could be a host of different reasons.....
