doesnt it have to be a marine intake gasket , since raw water will be flowing thru it?

Dean, I've used them but I've had better luck with the Mr. Gasket Ultra Seal, 5828, even though it's not stamped Marine. I like the fact they have more surface area around the water ports which is where I've seen a lot of seepage on the Felpro's. Have you tried them, what's your take?

I have always used Fel Pro for the intakes and never had a problem. I would Throw away the little cork gaskets that come with the set and are supposed to go on the ends of the intake. I prefer to make this gasket out of Sealant

I've always used Felpro's with the printoseal and never had any issues. Thats what the #1212's posted are.

I don't know if there even is a marine specific intake gasket and I wouldn't worry about looking for one.

Over time salt water finds its way thru anything. First is gets between the gasket which is no big deal...then it crystalizes and expands....then the process starts over again..until it begins leaking into the engine..
