Doing ok with this so far, even posted an event on the calander in June.
But, how can I stop this e-mail every time someone makes a post on a subject I responded to? Help!

It looks like if you go to your profile and click on the options tab, you can change the default so that you don't get the email every time...also, it looks like you can select this option for a particular post by checking it before you submit the post...

If you want to post a calendar item that everyone can see, make sure you click on the "Public Event" button, and submit your event.
After the board gods approve the post, everyone will be able to see it.
"Private Events" aren't moderated, but you're the only one that can see them.
