Default Just returned from the Tres Martin school WOW

I just returned from ocala fl where I attended The ultra high performance boat school. Tres was my teacher, the class was amazing. I have driven boats for years but after taking the class I feel much more confident about my driving. I can not express in words how important it is to learn these skills that he teach's you. I just moved over to cats from v bottoms. I can now turn my cat and trim properly, which everyone thinks they know but really dont. The class also helps you to understand the hydrodynamics of a boat and how the boat works. This allows you to understand and prevent possible wrecks before they happen. I highly suggest the class for the novice to the so called expert beacuse after you are done you will understand how I feel. Thanks agian Tres for the great class and showing me how to drive my boat the right way, safe and controlled.

My boat is plenty fast but I now feel safe driving the boat at any speed. On the other hand the boat now handles like its on rails, because I know how to steer it properly.

How to trim a boat properly from a stop to full speed in rough and smooth water conditions, and how to turn a boat properly. Both of these things I was sure I knew what I was doing but I was way off . After you learn the right way on paper and then the next day actually do them you know right away how off you really were.
