Default Patching water pickup speedo

I am over hauling my dash and in doing so I am replacing the old water pickup speedo with a Livorsi GPS. What's the best way for me to patch/fill/repair the hole in the transon.

I'd like to know as well since the previous owner did the GPS and just left it back there.

heres couple shots resurrected from the ill fated "101" thread

I am guessing the holes are not to big and will not need a core plug so heres a quick run down.

get a ball end rasp or carbide die grinder bit. I like the ball end rasp because its courser but its tough to find good ones these days. Scarf out the hole as shown to encompass any stress cracks that may be around the original hole. I use WestSystem 404 high density filler in polyester resin if i am also re-gelcoating or USComposites 635 Epoxy if i am touching up with paint. Its rare that i will use epoxy though for something like this because it is easier to fair out with poly besides you really wont benefit from the extra strength in any way on just a hole plug job. What are you doing the color in?
