Default Valve Covers

My buddy and I are both rebuilding our motors. We are going to run stud girdlres on both and need to run a tall valve cover for clearence. Will we have problem with clearing the exhaust with the taller valve covers? One motor has Gill exhaust and the other has a set of Lightning headers. What aftermarket covers do you guys run?? Thanks!
