I'll be out there for a training class for a few days this coming week.
Does anyone live in the area? Any sights that I should definately see?

I lived in Sunnyvale way back in the early 80's and sure things have changed alot. The only thing close by is the Winchester House in San Jose. Sort of a haunted house and an eccentric widow that continued construction after her husband passed.

If you have time to travel into the city, Fishermans Wharf has a ton of stuff to see with Alcatraz tours which may not continue much longer.

I personally enjoyed Calistoga just north of Napa but it's over 100 miles from San Jose. The mineral spa's are well worth the trip.
