Default Another Sunkin Nightmare

Found this over on dieselplace. Here's the guy's post:

you don't need no stinkin' d-max, look what the 'ol half ton is capable of....

We've been doing this since that truck was new in '89. The boat goes maybe 3-4 miles from storage to gas station to ramp, but it gets 'er done. 4 low, can't go faster than about 15 mph, no trailer brakes, and a 4x4 coupled with a 2x4 between rear axle and bump stops. Last year we had it on a little too far forward and the front truck tires were chirping on take off, minimal steering. Don't worry, we're safe, we put a tow strap to another vehicle in the event the chevro blows a u joint or something

Can't wait to saddle 'er up to the d-max this spring....

Boat is 16,400 lbs dry, 39' long by 14' wide.
trailer is about 5000 lbs
350 gallons of fuel x 8.33 lbs per gallon = 2915
150 gallons of water x 8.33 lbs per gallon = 1249
13 golf cart batteries x 68 lbs ea = 884
prob at least 1000 lbs of misc gear total wieght somewhere in the nieghborhood of 27440 lbs.

Top this you rednecks.

When he drives over a 9-year-old on his bike, they can use this at his trial.

Here was his post about that:

haha, i was awaiting a response like those that were posted.

Just got my d-max, that ol' half ton belongs to my dad (as well as the boat)

No its not the factory hitch, and no it doesn't go far down the road, like I said it goes about 2-3 miles down back roads from the storage to the ramp. And yes the truck will pull it up the ramp in 4 - low, the van and tow strap is just in case... It draws quite a crowd every spring and fall, I'll tell you that.

Bunch of nay-sayer's you all are,I thought you'd be proud to see what a chevy is capable of, lol.

Its clear that he doesnt care about the life of others, only himself.
When he hits someone and they take his house, or his dads he'll get it.

Where is this guy? I want to stop short in front of him and settle out of court for just the boat if it is still in good shape.
