Default Ebay Headaches

I listed my 22 Caliber on Ebay Sunday, got the usually 100 & 500 bids. Surprisingly had 30 bids after two days was over 10K last night and just shy of my reserve when ebay cancelled my auciton without warning. I had list other brand names in the titles as I had seen others do to enhance searches. Ebay called that a spamming violation and cancelled the auction. I had to repay and relist that d*mn thing for less time and have been now waiting for 8 hours for it to become searchable. Ebay has offered to credit my fee for the trouble but all my previous bids are null since the good people in the phillipines/india cant figure out how to reinstate the previous ad with corrections. I was really impressed how things were going and since I'm thrown under the bus, started from scratch. Meanwhile I'm 8 hours into a non searchable auction, funny the last listing went up immediately and bids within the hour. Just venting since I'm been dealing with live chat for 4 session since 7 am, while neglecting my clients.

Heres my re-list hopefully one day it will become word searchable and recover to the previous amount bid. In addition, I lowered my reserve by 1K just for the headache to the bidders.

Okay I just bid $150.00.

Let me know if I win?

Best of luck to you on the sale and I hope it goes better then before.

I was born and raised in Hot Springs and did a lot of boating on Lake Hamilton and my dad later had a houseboat up at Mt. Harbor on Quachita.

Somebody complained about the listing. THat is the only time they will remove a listing for that.

Who knows. I was pissed they waiting two days and didnt notify me before ending the auction. I was close to my reserve after two days. Which was surprising. I was mainly venting since I spent half day on this issue. Well on the upside at least there seems to be returned interest just about 1/2 way to where i was.

If everyone started gaming the system by putting in all kinds of brand names in their listings, then the entire search engine would be useless. That's why it's against their terms of service.
