Default Fuel Mileage when towing??

What is everyone getting??

I heard the Fords do really well when not towing.....
But what about when you have a load you pulling??

What about the Chevy's?? All my friends that have the Duramax's have tricked them out to where they aren't getting good MPG but they run like a stripped a$$ ape. Some have trouble with the tranny's slipping.....

The Dodges do well but when loaded the one I know of gets around 11mpg....

Heck my old 1998 Chevy 454 dually gets 11mpg around town and about the same when towing (9-10mpg)

2005 Dodge 3500 Srw gets 13ish pulling the boat. More like 18 without load. I tow around 65-67 mph, don't let her go over 70 unless I am gaining momentum for a big hill or something.

Mark, Glad it worked out for you guys...Paint looks awesome BTW...With the same 07 Ford Dooley truck towing my 43 Nortech I got 10.2 in tow mode at 65-74 mph.

On my new 08, with no tune, and not broken in I got a dismal 8.4 mpg towing the Nortech and just yesterday towing my wife's Albury bros. 23 with hardtop got 8.7 at 70-75mph. Hopefully it will get better. Jeff

When I pulled the Powerquest 260 legend from Ohio I got mid 13's with my Suburban. I was pushing a bit...no doubt if I kept it down to 65 I would have been 14-15ish!
