Does anyone have the old VDO flush mount gauges from their 1988 to 1993 Scarab when you replaced them? You want to sell them? I have a 1990 31' Scarab Excel with twin 454 mags. Most of my gauges are in great shape and I would like to keep it original if I can. One tach is bad and the other tach lens cover is bad. I also need a speedometer. Will take all I can find. I would also like to find all the gauge and switch mounting plates for the 1990 31' Scarab Excel also. Thanks

There is a place in sarasota just down the street from the wellcraft plant that has obsolete parts. I found my dash there complete!!!!!! Marine surplus was the nome of the place , I have the card @ home if you want.

I will be replacing all of my VDO gauges shortly. I will list them on Ebay unless you want to make me an offer. All the gauges are in good working order except for 1 temp gauge.

Hey Double... I did the same thing a couple of years ago and went directly to VDO and got exact replacements... It was for a 1995 Scarab but they had the exact replacements and were about the same price as offered for used on eBay... Don't really know if they could help you but thought I would share the information... They did have an online catalog which shows size and design... Worst case the detail on the gague itself might be a slight bit different but someone might have to own the boat to notice since color of the detail could be the only difference... Hope this helps!!
