Do you have to have warranty issues repaired by the dealer which sold a boat?

For instance if a boat was purchased from an out of town dealer can any merc. certified service center make the warranty repairs? Or how about structural warranty claims?

Any certified merc service facility can do the repairs on merc warranty stuff.

As far as the actual boat warranty stuff, that will depend on the manufacturer.
