Default Singapore?

Has anyone lived and worked and played in Singapore.
How was it?
Any boating there?
Researching a possible personal lucrative venture there.

Chuck, a good friend of mine spent 4 years there. I spent a month visiting while he was there. There are some marina's and there is a ferry service that runs out of the main harbour up to Tioman Island in the South China Sea. We took that boat up to do a bunch of diving, and I think if you had anything bigger than a 30 footer you could run most days. There is also a lot of ski boats running interior rivers, we used a club that had a bunch of ski boats, you paid by the hour and rented a driver and a boat, skied, hung on the beach and drank, then skied some more. I'll check with him and see if there is anybody that is still over there that he knows. If you do go, you have to join the American Cliub. http://www.amclub.org.sg/aboutus.htm

Chuckbeecher:

I have been there a few times, almost ended up working there by choice. Unfortunately the guy about to hire me got laid off.

I spent some time taking a ferry about 45 min to Indonesia where there are some gorgeous resorts.

If there is any work you are looking ot hire anybody for I'd love to have a chat.

Randy

Been there several times in the mid 90's, not since. It's a beautiful place (I call it the Emerald city) but very expensive for even the common things. Oh yeah, they like to flog too....
