Default Anyone have a Canyon or Colorado pickup?

looking at possibly getting into one...i like the looks of the truck (would be the crewcab 4x4) but havent had a chance to sit inside one or drive it yet....i know they have the I-5 engine. Just wondering if anyone has/had one and how do/did you like it? I'm just not sure if i can go from a full size chevy to a midsize truck....My wife has the jeep liberty and its a fun truck to drive for short trips....but i dont think i could do it everyday.....if i was to get this truck it would get a lift and tires right away Thanks in advance...

Wally,

We have sold alot of them at the father in laws dealership. I advise against, they are gutless and hard on gas.

I can't personally agree, but a good friend has the Colorado crew cab with 20k miles and cant wait to get rid of it.

IMHO, the I-5 is underpowered for everything GM is bolting them into.

Have heard rumors on the forums they are possibly stuffing a v8 in them....same motor the v8 H3 hummer will be getting....guess i'll wait and see what happens.
Found another dude that stuffed an LS2 engine in one! said it dropped in like it was meant to be there.....hmmmm....

I am a diehard GM man, worked at dealers for a long time. It hurts me to say it, dont buy one. I dont think there is one out there that runs right. Many cylinder head and valve problems with both the I-5 and I-4 cylinder engines.
