JUST A LITTLE SURVEY AS TO USE RTV ON OIL PAN GASKETS OR NOT.ON THE ENTIRE GASKET OR JUST THE CORNERS.

Yes corners and skim coat side to block so it don't slide round. Just my 02

I use #2 permatex in corners and on both sides of all oil pan gaskets. Never had oil leaks with this approach. I think it would be hard to keep the end rubber gaskets in place with RTV. They are tricky, and if one of the rubber "tits" pop out of the hole they are made to fit into, and it sits up on the gasket surface... you get a leak.
