Just painted the bilge white, And I wanted to "splatter" or "sling" some purple highlight paint on. It would be like some of the factory Baja bilges'. Does anybody have any good ways to do this? I have heard of a Fork, short cut paintbrush,or ????????

Personally not a fan of the splatter look, would rather have a nice white bilge myself. How about some pinstriping down the stringers or along the edges or something to add the 'highlights' your looking for?

They make a webbing solution but why anybody would ever do that to an engine compartment is beyond me. Do it in awl grip and dirt/ oil will wipe up without the stains you'll soon have with gelcoat.

pour some paint (SMALL AMOUNT- size of a quarter) on the plate.. aim the paint on a piece of plywood and hit it with the airgun.. get used to it on the plywood before you try it on the bilge..its messy, but fun..
