Unhappy Selling my 2000 Silverado 2500

Finally time to let the girl go. I love it to death, but gas is killing me and I cant daily drive it anymore. So I'm getting a low grade hauler for pulling to the ramp and back, and selling my Silverado off.

2000 Silverado 2500 3 door 4x4
6.0 liter
4L80E transmission
heated leather interior
stock cd player
two sets of wheels, aluminum with Pro Comp 285 tires, and a set of chrome factory steel wheels with no tires.
Pewter in color with matching capper
Tonneau cover
Silverstar lights in EVERY socket
Paint updated about 3 years ago
Mileage is showing 150k, but heres the catch. EVER since I owned this truck I have had oversized tires on it, and did not fix the speedo. According to GPS, the speedo is 7 MPH high. So figure over three and a half years of that, I guess the truck to have 120k ish AT BEST on it.
Uses no oil, starts fine, runs perfectly. I do all my own maintiance, and that includes trans and diff services, plugs, and general stuff.
Remote start put on at winters start this year.
I will also throw in the Z06 cam I have that goes with the truck.
Currently I have a set of H2 wheels and BFG Mud Terrians that are not going with the truck. Add 800 bucks and they are yours. But I am trying to sell them seperatly right now, so dont wait too long.
Also has a custom Magnaflow exhaust setup with dual polished tips. Sounds AWESOME IMO

I love this truck people, it has never given me any issues, and runs fabulous. It is really just fuel economy I am selling it for. I dont tow enough to drive it daily.

I will entertain trades of lesser tow vehicles, but nothing too high dollar. The next hauler I get will be a beater that runs good and pulls my boat, thats it.

Two known issues with my truck currently. The driver side seat has a tear in the vinyl like ALL of these trucks with leather get. And the front brakes are 3 point stopping and hitting the squealers. So its going to need a front brake job. But they are no where near grinding, and I still regularly take this truck 2.5 hours north to Houghton Lake.

Great truck, that has been WELL taken care of its whole life.

9300.00

Remember, the folder called "New Wheels" are for wheels that are not included at the 9300.00 cost. The H2 wheels are 800 additional, and I will sell them seperalty if asked.

Only catch, I am looking for a replacement car right now. So I have to find and aquire that first, but if you want this truck, a small downpayment and it is yours and I can find my jeep inside of a week if I have to.

Sounds like a nice truck.

You need to put an ad in the OSO classifieds. Its against the OSO rules to use the forums to sell items.

Oh, sorry didnt know that. I will put one in the classifieds then. thanks for the heads up.

And your right, it does suck. I LOVE this truck, but I commute almost 70 miles round trip a day, it just isnt worth it anymore.

Wouldn't over-sized tires show LESS mileage ? they turn slower to go the same speed ...

Yep,,, back when I ran a lowered S-10 on 205-50/15 tires instead of the 215-65/15's that came on it I ran into that,,, speedo showed faster then I was actully going.

That is correct. On one of my recent road trips, my truck says that i"ve gone 9.2 miles for every 10 miles traveled. According to Mr. SuperTrooper, 70 on the cruise control means 76 on his radar gun!!

He let me slide.

My truck had 245's on it (pizza cutters) and I have replaced them with 285's. Mucho better ride!

I swear everyone is questioning this.

When the GPS is saying 70 MPH, my speedo is showing 79 MPH. Dont know if it is due to the reworking of the computer during the tune or what, but I will gladly demonstrate this to anyone intersted in the truck via a GPS
