I've used Imron, and like it. But, the Mercury paint is very unique. The solids in the paint make it very durable and the color is exactly what I want. I wish Dupont made a comparable paint to the Phantom Black.

Is Phantom Black an enamel or poly base?

Cig: The Merc stuff is an enamel I think they use PPG but I will find out for sure what the codes are if you would like. My brother go all the info strait from Merc a few days ago. So getting it in Gallons should be no problem.

They do... just paint something with it then take it into your local paint supply and they will color match it for you on the spot.
