The all new Ho It’s truly a remarkable expansion boasting a $500 million price tag.

What a joke. How many friggin casinos do they need. East Chicago, Hammond, Michigan City and now New Buffalo. New Buffalo made 49 mil in 2 months and people actually go to think they will win. I am not trying to judge but I am saving my scratch for $4 gallon boat gas. Sorry I will step down off my soap box.

Dan,

Where does this leave the Hammond crew?

Thats what I was getting at, I bust my tail working everyday so people can cheat the welfare or other gvt systems and lay around all day. Doesn't seem fair.

Alot of the outside of the casino is done already. They now have to do all the interior work. It really won't effect us in the marina. Our slip will be there and I will enjoy the summer as always. I don't go to the gambling boat while am there so it won't bother me at all. We work to many hours to have what we have so they are not getting my money. They may get it through my tax dollars at work but hey we voted for it.

The marina will be open May 1 for us boaters and I am told the gas dock will be open also.

Mark

Mark is correct about the Marina being open May 1st. Didn't want to give the wrong impression. Unfortunately the construction will continue which means very limited parking. Maybe I am wrong but I don't think so.

Still looking forward to a great summer of boating with our friends construction or not.
