Thanks OSO for responding so quickly with the multiple emails from the same posts. I see this morning that I only get one email no matter how many replies to a thread. Keep up the good work...

I take that back.........I am still getting a large volume of emails to the same threads.

I think all this information is in the FAQ, but I'm used to VBulletin so here's the long and short of it.

Once you're logged in, go to BB Profile (in left frame) or use this link http://www.offshoreonly.com/forum/usercp.php This page shows your "subscriptions" settings. Unsubscribe if you don't want any more email notifications.

By default, this is a permanent setting you can change in the BB Profile Area under EDIT OPTIONS. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forum/me...on=editoptions

Here you'll find an option on the board setting to "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" Select "NO" and you won't get emails anymore unless you check off a box during the time you're leaving a message post or replying.

While you are there, click on the settings you want for Private Messaging. You can turn on "pop up window" so you'll get a pop up message if someone sends you a PM.

Thanks Kelly, But I still want to be notified, but only once and not everytime someone replies. I believe Scream N Fly is setup that way...
