Default Anyone Know about these DRIVES???
Here's an interesting drive I've never seen before at the Miami Boat Show. It was on a Sonic. Anyone know anything about them???

Luke is correct, a ZF drive. Whar power was in the Sonic? I have a boat at the shop with four of these drives with an assortment of problems. I'll stop by Sonic's booth and take a look. Thanks for the tip!

I know they have something to do with ZF ,but aren't they called "SDS" ( Surface drive systems ). I had a long talk with the owner of the company about 4 years ago at the show .

ZF, huh?...Interesting....

The sonic has some big-hp diesels, if I'm remembering correctly.

boot- actually they were designed by Fabio Buzzi (Trimax drive)and are manufactured by ZF marine
