Default Time for a burst of the testosterone bubble...

Well ladies and gentlemen, I realize that in this post I am probably exposing myself as an obsessive persona with regard to what is happening "on the Board" both here at OSO and at the rather stagnant OPB, but hey, that's the way it goes when you are bored on the computer.

Here's the gist of it...I think we've been "set up" with the recent cashbrain situation. A couple weeks ago on OPB, Mr. Lieske called out Mr. Farmer, threatening a visit to his home and physical repercussion associated with said visit. I don't know the details of the arguement, only that it existed. Then, suddenly, the thread regarding the "cracked up" Cigarette reappears in the OSO General Discussion (resurrected by Packinair), and also, Packinair is posting in the Chicago Powerboat Club forum (something that hasn't happened in recent memory). This two-pronged attack by Mr. Farmer has clearly worked to it's intended purpose...a knee-jerk reaction and a gush of testosterone against Mr. Lieske. Cudos to Mr. Farmer...a bit childish...but an effective jab nonetheless.

If I am wrong on this I apologize, but it does somehow fit. The fact that Jack has repeatedly come onto this board under various guises is a truth unto itself that makes Mr. Farmer's ruse all that much more believable. However, Jack has seldom been so blatant in his insults...especially when unprovoked...if you look up the recent cashbrain quotes, they are all just potshots...like it or not, I actually think Jack is smarter than that.

At any rate, I hope everyone has had fun...god knows we need some in the spring when we are itching to hit the water. Please don't mistake this as a pacification of my feelings towards Mr. Lieske...my view of him remains largely unchanged and that is the result of an entirely different arguement...but I actually think he's getting the short end of the stick on this one.

So....Packinair...if I'm right on this...well played. Also...hard to believe I'm saying this one...to Mr. Lieske I apologize for the name-calling, I'm usually above that. Just make sure you steer clear of me anyway and it'll all be good.

Done beating the dead horse,
Mike Sommer

Oh...since I've now gotten PMs from both parties involved in my theory...I'll just reiterate that it is merely a theory...I don't know who's right and who's wrong and I don't wanna know...I just want it stated that I am out...and that we should all just let it go and go freakin' boating already.

That would've been a safe bet.
