Default hi-6 mounting

has anybody mounted a Crane hi-6 to the engine they say not to.
If you have who makes a bracket to do it?

The bracket also has to hold the coil and rge mercathode

I mounted mine on the bulkhead infront of the motors with GM style weather proof connectors on the motors' wiring harnesses that will unplug and allow engine removal without pulling the ignition boxes.

I just made an aluminum shelf that mounted to the back of the transom. I used the fasteners that were coming thru for the swim platform. I mounted my HI-6 ignition box, Crane coil, Mercathode and fuel bypass regulator on the back shelf. Just make sure you ground the coil back to the engine.

Now my engine is very clean and you really can't see the shelf. I attached the photo for you to review..
