i was wondering what you guys run for fuel pressure into your carbs,and what is the min and max.

I run about 8 pounds on a mechanical pump.

5-7 psig, when wide open drops to 4 psig or less I replace the pump(s).

Between 6 and 8lbs Mechanical pump

On the blower motor about 8psi at idle with 6-7psi WFO. Electric pump.

Electric system with fuel log with built in bypass return 6psi idle or wot

I run 7lbs on a electric fuel pump with an aeroquip bypass regulator. It runs 7 pounds all day long no matter what load and never moves the needle.

I have -8 an lines to the carb and a -10 supply and bypass line, easy set up and works great. I even run the fuel line thru the oil cooler ports that was supposed to be used for power steering cooling use.

Between 5 - 7#... Mechanical pump

9 psi mechanical with electrical back ups to 12 psi...581 blower moters

I run blower motors with electric pumps feeding my Merc mechanical pumps. Run 6-8 psi depending on throttle.
