OSS has officially signed on to race on Sunday.

New updated schedule:

Thursday night block party.

Friday: DS-08 Poker run
Friday night: Poker Run card turn in party @ the Nautical Inn


Saturday:

8 - 12 Shootout begins
12 - 2:00 POPRA racing and OSS testing
2:00- 3:00 OSS testing
3:00 - 5pm Shoot out resumes

Saturday night: DS Poker Run / Shootout awards/party (and possibly POPRA, still in works)


Sunday:

12 - 3 PM - OSS racing

Sunday night: OSS Awards party.


The race boats will be craned in at the Nautical Inn launch ramp.
Wet pits will be located at the Nautical Inn launch ramp temporary docks.
Dry pits/race compound will be located in the field near the Nautical Inn.

130+ participants for the block party
175 boats signed up for the poker run (expecting over 200 by poker run day)
50 boats signed up for the shoot-out
20 (so far) boats signed up for APBA races
16 (so far) boats signed up for OSS races


My question: Is there another event that can compare in magnitude when it comes to a performance boating event all wrapped into one!? Key West worlds are close but Key West worlds don’t have an “open to the public” shoot-out.

Going to be a crazy weekend!!!

Thanks to POPRA and Lake Racer for inviting OSS to attend this fantastic event. The OSS teams are excited to make the trip west and join what looks to be the biggest boating weekend of the season.
