i love that paint job on the scarab....there were more than one done like that wasn't there...i remember bubbles on some 33 avs scarabs that was more of a blue color...I miss my old scarab panther...

The ad says this boat is a 99? AVS hull? not quite sure. Looks like a 96 am I missing something?

This thread probably belongs in the Scarab section, but, there is a huge difference between a 1998 and a 1999- AVS. I don't think that boat will go 86 MPH with that power and xr drives. I have a '98 with 575 SCIs' and superchillers (dynoed at 650 HP each) with xr's, and will be happy to break 80 with that set up. Clean boat though. He has been trying to sell on EBAY but only got up to 68k in March. Interesting , I never seen a 38' that late with a closet. Without interior pic, I cannot tell if it has the wrap around couch....Mike

he re-did the interior...took out the fridge and installed a wine cooler etc...MUST SEE IN PERSON i've personally been on the boat in the Barnegat Bay at 82mph (GPS) in a lil better then a 1ft chop

very clean boat and now has 6 new trailer tires and new lights. purple is very bright, you can spot it far away. At a poker run it will stand out in the crowd. someone will be very happy with it
